About the piece
Published in 1857 as »One Horse Open Sleigh« and not written for Christmas at all, but about sleigh racing. In 1965 it became the first song broadcast from space, by the crew of Gemini 6.
Public domain. The author died more than seventy years ago, and this engraving is our own — no edition right applies.
