Violin tuner

Tunes the violin through the microphone and shows which string you are playing, not just the nearest semitone. Every string can also be tapped to sound, for tuning by ear.

Tap a string to hear it

Measured against the target notes of the chosen tuning, not against the semitone grid. A string may therefore be a whole tone out and is still recognised as itself. The pitch is computed in the browser — no sound leaves your device.

Anotona does this for you

Photograph a page of sheet music or play the melody — Anotona finds the key, engraves the notes and transposes them into any other. Free.

Every note on this page is computed, not typed in — following the rule that also makes F# major spell its seventh degree E#, not F.
