Allegretto
moderately fast, 112–120
Allegretto lies between 112 and 120 beats per minute; the metronome starts in the middle, and the tempo can be changed there.
In the score
♩ = 116
What it means
Between moderato and allegro. The diminutive takes some of allegro's drive, not its cheerfulness.
