Vivace

lively and brisk, 140–176

Metronome at 158 BPM

Vivace lies between 140 and 176 beats per minute; the metronome starts in the middle, and the tempo can be changed there.

What it means

Lively, quick-witted. Vivace describes the manner of movement more than its speed — vivo and con brio mean something similar.
