Da capo (D.C.)

from the beginning

In the score

Engraved by Verovio 6.3.0-425dd7b D.C. al Fine

What it means

Back to the start of the piece. With al Fine you play up to the word Fine and end there, not at the end of the page.

Repeat signs

At the end stands Da Capo al Fine: start again from the top and stop at the word Fine. Fine sits in the middle of the piece, not at the close — it is ignored on the first pass and is the ending on the second.
